Built in 1974, the Mugello International Circuit is located in the municipality of Scarperia; it was purchased by Ferrari towards the end of the 1980s and numerous interesting sporting events take place here, such as the Italian Moto GP and the Ferrari World Finals.
The Mugello Autodromo with a 5245 meter track immersed in the woods and greenery of the Tuscan hills of Mugello is renowned for its fast corners and its slopes and is a highly attractive international sports center . The total length of the track is 5245 m., divided almost equally between straights and curves. the curves occupy 48.5% of the total length of the track: there are 15 curves, 9 on the right and 6 on the left. The width of the track varies between 9.6 and 14 metres. The longest straight is in front of the pits and is 1141 meters long. The circuit is located 292 meters above sea level and has an overall height difference of 41 metres.
